Timeline Feed Reader is an RSS reader app that lets you follow news feeds and listen to articles. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what information the app handles and how.
Timeline Feed Reader does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Specifically, we do not collect:
All app data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This includes the RSS feeds you subscribe to, downloaded articles, read/unread status, and your settings. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to export it.
The app makes outbound requests only to fetch the RSS and Atom feeds you have added. No data about you or your reading habits is included in these requests. Feed URLs are the only external endpoints the app contacts.
The AI Digest feature uses Apple's FoundationModels framework to generate spoken introductions for articles. All processing happens entirely on your device. No article content or generated text is sent to any external server, including ours.
The app uses iOS Background App Refresh to periodically fetch new articles from your feeds. This is performed directly between your device and the feed servers — no intermediary is involved.
Article titles and summaries are indexed in iOS Spotlight so you can search for them from the home screen. This index is stored locally on your device and managed by iOS.
Timeline Feed Reader does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. All frameworks used are Apple's own system frameworks.
The app does not knowingly collect any data from users of any age. Because no data is collected, the app is safe for all audiences.
